End of Builder's Warranty
Inspection
New homes generally have a Home
Builder's Warranty that lasts for one year.
The best way to receive the most
from the warranty on your new home is to keep a running list of items you notice
as possible defects, have your inspector investigate them as part of a complete
professional punch list report.
Presenting an objective
professional punch list report to your builder near the end of the 10th month of
your warranty should provide the builder adequate time to address any of
concerns listed.
Your report from Certified Residential Inspections,
Inc will include
our experienced construction inspector's observations and will be written in
terms the builder and you will understand, be documented with photos and
be available in PDF format for easy distribution.
Your builder will respect the
fact that you have a professionally prepared punch list of known defects report that is the
product of a trained construction inspector.
